Well, I talked about a Songbird/Dazzler teamup and then did this. Couldn’t get it outta my mind, so I drewed her.

I liked Dazzler’s old full body blue suit (maybe not the headband) but it was decent versus her original shiny, silvery, roller-skatin, 70s party suit (which by all accounts, is awesome in its own way.) I really liked her Excalibur look with the short pink hair. So I started there (cuz her current uniform is HIDEOUS and her Extreme X-Men look is blah) Return of the short hair (back to blonde), a two piece costume (cuz she’s sexy singer) and her ‘stolen’ Capt. Marvel starburst.

Beautiful. I agree with keeping the more modern two piece look. My only issues with this look is that she can be mildly mistaken for "Captain (Ms.) Marvel" I'd love this look with her former shiny spandex and silver highlights. I mean, she's the only character that's ever rocked that look. Dagger is the only other character that's come close. I'd just recolor this and maybe change the shape of the star a little. Take a few points away, maybe make it glow?

I hear ya. I have the same beef with my Jade. They all have a similar 'logo' like the good Col. Danvers.

Ever notice that Dazzler is at her best when she has short hair? (Of course I am LOVING her in X-Treme X-Men. Best she's been handled in a LONG LONG time.)
